I thought it would be fun to share what I’ve bought these past couple of months, both locally and online from my favorite brands. I definitely want to support these businesses and take advantage of recent sales. These have brought me such joy and are things I’ve wanted/needed for a long time. Treat yourself here and there if you can!
Here’s my haul:
Blue light glasses
I get headaches from too much screen time. These actually help my eyes feel less strained from my computer/phone screen and look so cute if I do say so myself! I highly recommend them if you haven’t tried them. There are tons of cheap pairs on Amazon- these are the clear-rimmed pair I chose!
Sports bras
I never want to invest in sports bras, but mine were pretty old. This one from Aerie was on sale and it is the best! Very comfy and cute with its longer length. I got it in dusty sage.
Matching athletic set
Loungewear sets seem to be the new rage, but I can’t bring myself to buy one of those cute tie-dye sets. Instead, I got matching leggings & a top, which I think I’ll get more use out of. I discovered this brand called JoyLab at Target—it’s the coolest ribbed material. I got the insignia blue, but they have a bunch of fun colors for summer. I recommend sizing down in the leggings.
Brown flat sandals
I’ve seen these all over Pinterest. They’re so versatile and I didn’t have a simple, flat sandal. These were only $12 from Target!! I think they look so effortless, yet put together and cool.
Cheap staples from Old Navy
A few weeks ago, the entire Old Navy site was under $20. It was wild! I’m lacking some staple clothing items, so I picked up: a plain tank top in black and white, black linen paper bag pants, and an oversized distressed jean jacket. I know I will wear these a ton and I was so excited when they finally arrived. It was too good of a sale to pass up!
Wooden Ships Knit Ocean Child Sweater from Solis in Harwich Port
I’ve always dreamed of owning one of these sweaters, but they’re quite the investment. I got this on major sale at Solis by following a “flash sale” on their Instagram stories. They’re offering free shipping for over $35 or curbside pick-up if you’re local. You should go follow their Instagram for updates on their adorable items. Shop local!
Stemless Corkcicle
This was my “Easter basket” from my mom, but I had to include it. She got one for the whole fam from Solis and we love them!! They’re so fun for a glass of wine or cocktail & keep your drink cold for hours. My corkcicle is in my favorite color, light pink, and it truly brings me so much joy. It’s the little things. Solis’ Corkcicle collection is huge—check out their website or their Instagram- they’re constantly featured!
Sunset Therapy Cropped Tee
One of my childhood best friends & her mom started Sunset Therapy Apparel, an awesome clothing company. They donate 10% of their profits to a different mental health organization each year. I got the “Just Breathe” cropped tee and I love it!! It’s such a nice reminder and looks cute with a pair of high waisted jeans or leggings.
New sneakers
I really needed new sneakers. Adidas is my favorite brand. I found these on Zappos, which I didn’t think were too bad of a price for Adidas shoes. I like a lighter color in sneakers, and the white/grey is neutral enough to match with everything.
That’s a wrap! I try to be very thoughtful with my spending and I’m super happy with all of these. Maybe this gave you some inspo for any of your future purchases. If you pick up any of these, please let me know how it works for you!
